Our Sunday School

Guests

Guests to the Sunday School are asked to fill out a Guest Registration Form so that we may know you and your child, as well as to gather important information to make the first classroom experience a great one!

Nursery Care

You are welcome to bring your child under age 4 to the Nursery/Playgroup from before the service at 10:45 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. or keep him/her with you. The Nursery is staffed by one staff adult and one volunteer. If you are attending for the first time, it is required to fill out a Guest Registration Form for your child.

Right Relations: Comfort and Safety for all of Us…

In the spirit of creating intentional and meaningful community, the Religious Exploration Committee and the Parish Committee promote and uphold practices, guidelines, and policies to ensure the emotional and physical safety of everyone in our church community.

In addition to the “two-adult practice” in every setting when minor children and youth are gathered, all persons leading in our Religious Exploration Program are asked to submit to a Background Check. While these can be inconclusive and experienced as invasive, we sincerely hope that this measure is seen as a proactive step towards common safety precautions in everyone’s best interest.

Following are the current practices, guidelines, and policies at First Parish in Brookline:

Teachers are expected to read, fill out, and submit these forms:
