Current psychology pundits are telling us what we already know instinctively: we are happiest when we use our strengths to further an objective in which we have great interest. The Leadership Development Committee at First Parish has a project to identify skills that you would like to apply at First Parish, as well as possible interests in parish committees and activities.
The aim is not only to help you apply your skills and be happy, but also to make the lives of organizers easier. Next time you need somebody to make a poster or to interpret a financial statement, you’ll know whom to call.
If you are relatively new to First Parish, this would be a great opportunity to let us know your skills and interests as you get to know us, and it helps us get to know you. But even for old-timers, we would like to know of your experience in the church and of course skills we never knew you had.
The survey is a simple one, mostly completed by checking boxes. It can be completed in in about 5-10 minutes.
