Our wonderful Climate Justice group met today to brainstorm and share ideas and actions for this new year.
We are a small group of climate justice seekers. We want a livable climate for our children, grandchildren, and future generations. Please consider joining us to figure out what we, as a small community, can do. We can combine efforts with other working groups at church, or perhaps join forces with other local UU churches. Let’s brainstorm together to figure out what we can accomplish.
Climate Justice Action
- Supports our congregation to know about and take action on climate issues affecting First Parish, our local community, and the world
- Supports a path to achieve environmental and financial sustainability of our church property, and supports our members’ efforts to personally live in a more sustainable manner.
- Supports “Earth Defenders” around the world.
- Works closely with the Religious Education teachers to assist them in teaching our children about Nature and caring for our living Earth.
- Welcomes anyone concerned about a livable climate for future generations and willing to take action.
