An accredited interim minister, Rev. Joe is in his third year here. Prior to coming to FPB he served as a transitional minister in four congregations. He also served congregations in Chicago, Vancouver BC, Dukinfield UK, Modesto CA, Cleveland OH, and Falmouth, MA. He is President of the Transitional Minister’s Chapter of the UU Ministers Association.

Rev. Joe lives with his husband, the Rev. Denis Paul, who also serves as a minister in a U.U. congregation. Rev. Joe’s hobbies include quilting, photography and making music.

Keith has been the Music Director at First Parish for nearly twenty years. He is a pianist, composer, conductor, concert curator, and teacher. Described as a “virtuosic tour de force” whose playing is “energetic, precise, (and) sensitive,” he works towards promoting under- recognized composers and educating audiences of the importance of new and experimental music. An active lecturer who has presented in countries throughout the world, his recital programs focus on the integration of computers and modern electronics into a traditional classical performance space. K. Milano

Religious Exploration Coordinator

K.  (they/them) is excited to join the staff at First Parish Brookline as the Religious Exploration Coordinator. They graduated from Tufts University in 2020 with a degree in Philosophy and bring experience as a union organizer and educator. K. also serves as the Youth Program Coordinator at First Parish in Arlington and is a board member at
Sanctuary Boston, a spiritually rooted, justice-focused community. They are passionate about creating spaces where kids feel empowered to ask big questions, build friendships, and grow in compassion.
K. is here on Sunday and Wednesday and is available remotely on Tuesday.

Sharon has a wide range of responsibilities at First Parish that include managing
building rentals.

She is here on Wednesday and Thursday and is available remotely on Tuesday and
Friday.
