Celebrate 90 years of a true legend: jazz pianist Ran Blake. This solo piano concert will feature Blake himself, as well as performances by Brian Friedland and other surprise guests!
First Parish and our Music Director Keith Kirchoff are excited to launch a new concert series! Featuring local musicians with ties to the Brookline community, this series celebrates a love of music. Our first concert is a 90th birthday celebration for pianist Ran Blake: one of the nation’s most celebrated jazz pianists, Ran is a decades-long resident of Brookline. This concert will feature many local pianists including Keith, Ran himself, and Brian Friedland (a regular in our jazz Easter celebrations). There promises to be many special guests!
